Our History

Life Tabernacle Church (LTC) was established in 1973 as a home missions church with the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) with Rev. Eugene Miles as Pastor. In the years that followed there were great men of God that served as Pastors of the church: Reverend Ronald Culberth, Reverend Marlon Adcock, Reverend Robert Hawks, and Reverend Edward Coto. Bro. Coto served as Pastor of LTC for 31 years. In 2017, Bro. Coto was promoted to Bishop and Reverend Robert Mahuron was elected Pastor of LTC. In April of 2021, Bro. Jacob Smith became the Assistant Pastor.

For over 50 years, Life Tabernacle Church has been a place in Barnwell County where lives are changed, hearts are encouraged, and new beginnings are possible.
